Acceptance

As human beings we long for it, we are desperate to be loved, we need companionship and we want to be a part of something bigger than ourselves. The gap that we are all born with and comes as part of our gene is the acceptance gene (so I call it)

The reason why some kids are easily bullied in school is because they want to be accepted so much that they will do anything to be a part of a group. Look at the gang mentality, it’s all about being accepted. Rejection is painful, so painful that some will do anything to numb the pain or avoid it altogether. Rejection hurts.

If only we looked past the pain, if only we looked past now, if only we gave it our all in what we did that we did not care about what people think of us. If only we could care little for public acceptance. Our desire for acceptance can cause us to chase after things that can kill or harm us, we need to be comfortable in our own skin. Not being accepted is not the end of the world, there is more to life than rejection if a single person, group or clan.

Do not worry much about being accord but just work hard, keep your nose clean and all will be well.
